Planet Biometrics - Prepaid card firm turns to voice biometrics for security

November 7, 2014 – Prepaid credit card firm UniRush has signed an agreement with voice biometrics firm Enacomm which will involve both authentication and customer service experience. UniRush's RushCard will be implementing Enacomm's eKBA mobilized authentication, which uses voice biometrics and mobile knowledge-based authentication. "RushCard revolutionized the payments industry as one of the first prepaid cards," said Enacomm CEO Michael Boukadakis in a statement. "Enacomm is excited to help UniRush protect what it has built with advanced, multifactor authentication of cardholders that delivers peace of mind." Enacomm will also provide smart call routing, advanced analytics, and personalized interactions. On 30 October, Enacomm announced a partnership with VoiceVault, an identity verification solutions provider. Together the firms plan to deliver a form of authentication that protects customers. VoiceVault’s voice biometric engine will be integrated into Enacomm Voice Authentication.
